In addition to the most significant small pelagic fish, in terms of the value of the catch, the trawler catch is also significant, in which Norway lobster, hake, mullet and some cephalopods are represented as the most important economic species.

In the structure of catches by unit value, Norway lobster (Nephros norvegicus) is particularly significant, and lately large quantities of prawns have been hunted.

More than 5,000 tons of trawling fish species, crabs and cephalopods are caught annually in Croatia. Although in recent years the demand for high-quality trawling fish on the Croatian market has been growing, it is a significant export, especially to the neighboring Italian market.
